The proof
You tell the story.
We turn it into lyrics.
Here is a real order. On the left, what the customer wrote. On the right, what his grandmother received.
What the customer wrote
“Grandma Jeanne bakes the best apple pies in the village. She knits in front of the television and always tells the same story about her trip to Italy in 1968.”
What she received
I still see your hands in the pastry, the scent of golden apples in the air. Nobody knows your secret, Grandma Jeanne, for those pies we all loved to share. In front of the screen, the needles are dancing, one more jumper for the winter ahead.
And when you tell us about Rome, your eyes light up like years ago. Sixty-eight, that journey of yours, we know it by heart, word for word.
Lyrics from a real order, translated here so you can follow along. Yours come with the song, and can be printed as a card to give.
